Dr. Goodman has more than 25 years of broad experience as a result oriented and data-driven leader in consulting, corporate and higher education settings. As a visionary innovator with a proven track record of success related to strategic planning and leading organizational development and change, he has also published articles and book chapters in areas related to organizational culture, change management and teamwork. He has served as a professor and leader in higher education with over a decade in the higher education "C-Suite" and another a decade as a business school dean including leading one of the nation’s largest College of Business at Western Governors University where he supported over 22,000 business students. As someone who has launched online universities and new program initiatives, competency-based education and numerous accreditation efforts he brings a broad perspective to his work. In addition, his work for over a decade as a Senior Associate Consultant with a leading enrollment management organization, allowed Eric to lead efforts to significantly improve the student experience, advising and ultimately retention at numerous institutions.  His best-selling book, From Teacher to Leader: Paving your Way to Education Administration shares strategies to create future education leaders in this rapidly changing environment. Dr. Goodman holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a focus in Organization Development from the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he also earned a master’s degree in Business Administration and a bachelor’s degree in Marketing.  He also holds numerous coaching and training certifications.
